Prometric Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM)
Prometric Certified Professional Food Manager (CPFM) is accepted nationwide by all states requiring food safety certification. During the one-day training, participants learn about:
- managing food safety and training;
- biological and other food contaminants;
- handling food safely from purchase to services;
- facilities and equipment;
- cleaning and sanitizing;
- pest control; and
- legal requirements, HACCP and inspections.
Following the Prometric course is a two-hour certification exam.
Certified Professional Food Manager is valid for five years. It is accredited by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and recognized by the Conference for Food Protection (CFP).
